“I wish I knew how to quit you, Facebook” John Green
The writer thinks
that in today’s world, people are under the influence of over using social
media and also believes that Facebook is one of them. I agree with the writer
as first of all, over-using Facebook has a bad influence on daily life. There
are many people who find themselves making comments and liking something on
Facebook instead of doing their house work. In other words, Facebook retains
people from doing daily tasks, and this may cause procrastination which affects
people’s life in a bad way. Second, over-using Facebook causes to lose real
personality of people and they may confuse virtual identity with the real one.
They don’t behave as themselves and show them as if they were always happy and
never had hard times since they want to make other people believe that they
have the most wonderful lives in the world. Third, giving full attention to
Facebook makes it difficult to establish relationships with new people.
Therefore, it is hard to socialize with a person over-using Facebook. When an
over-user returns to real life, he realizes that apart from virtual friends, he
is all alone which causes some illness such as depression or stress. On the
whole, I agree with the writer’s opinion that over-using Facebook causes the
delay of house works, losing identity and asociality.

Dear Sevim,
YanıtlaSilI really liked reading your journal. You have a nice style of writing. The topic is also a current issue in today's world. First of all, your writing is well-organized. You have used connectors properly and explained what you think clearly. You have used a variety of vocabulary and this shows your vocabulary building is extensive. Moreover, you have not given a place to complex sentences; therefore, it is easy to understand your writing. All in all, I liked your entry. Thank you for your posting :) Keep writing :)
