I would like to join....

Hello everybody,

I am Sevim from FLE Department. This is my first grade at the university and I would like to join Turkish Folklore Club. This club separates into three genres; Theatre, Music and Folklore. Actually, I want to take part in the theatre department. Why do I want to join this department? Well, all through my life, theatre appeals to me. In other words, it is always a pleasure for me to watch a theatre play as when I watch them, I grasp a chance to think about what I would do if I were a player. Besides this, an idea that living another person's life and feeling his emotions makes me more eager to join a club like that. When it comes to my experiences, I cannot say that I took part in many plays. However, I have tried to perform in the listening and pronunciation course recently and I enjoyed very much. In secondary school, my classmates and I tried to perform a play, but unfortunately, the assistant of headmaster didn’t let us perform our play. Nevertheless, my desire to play isn’t affected by such manners. In high school, because of university entrance exams, I had no chance to play. Therefore, I decided to join a theatre club at the university. I think I am good at observing, so alongside performance, maybe, I can give some ideas about plays and how we can make a play more attractive. All I need is some experience and so, I want to join this club. I hope, I reach my goals and make everybody happy! :)
