ARTICLE
: HOW CAN I DEVELOP GOOD LANGUAGE LEARNING HABITS?
The article I read is about what one
can do to achieve successful and good habits in learning a new language and the
article gives us seven methods about them. In the article, there are seven
methods to make developing habits easier and smoother. These are forming goals, physically
assigning a place for studying, pacing yourself, making use of dead time, taking on a
30 days challenge, improving your self-control and knowing yourself. In my opinion, every
single method is priceless because I realize when I picture myself developing a language
learning habit, I need all of these methods. As an example , “knowing yourself” is a
quite important method because no one wants to build a routine around something
that’s not meant. To be more successful, a learner should choose the most
suitable way for learning and should develop it a habit. As a second example, I can say “pacing
yourself” method. To decide how much time to put into studying , one can use the
pacing yourself method because every person has a different time of studying and when this time is
overcame , one may burn out. It is suggested in the article that every
learner can figure out what pace works and stick with it and finally , studying for a particular time will
become second nature. In conclusion , the one who wants to
learn a new language more efficiently and as a more motivated one can develop good
language learning habits following this article and in my opinion, in the future, as we
are all language learners, these methods can be useful for us.

As the peer evaluation, I have chosen your blog. In your blog, you have wide variety of paragraphs. The posts are focused on the main themes and developed with approriate supporting ideas. You did a good subject analysis when writing your reflections. You could have been more creative, but still your paragraphs are highly intellectual. In your reflecion on Facebook, you reflected the author's ideas explicitly. Also, you have a controlled voice to the reader. This is another point that I liked on your blog. Your posts were well-organized. You have majors and minors in all your reflections. In addition, you have not a single paragraph including one or two sentence, which is nice for the supporting of the ideas. You employed necessary connectors in your paragraphs, too. The understanding of the writings was clear because of the proper language use. You have only few minor grammatical mistakes that are not affecting the fluency of the reflecitons. We can understand that You prepared yourself for the writings since you have proper evidences and examples for the wrtings, and you made the essential reseach to write the reflections. The texts were coherent in general. Your ideas were totally related to your subjects. After having read your blog, I gained new perspectives on some subjects espacially on language learning and Aziz Sancar. Another point that I like is you avoided using repetition. That is, you used different vocabulary each time. In conclusion, you have done a good job in general sense. If you correct your little mistakes, you will have perfect paragraphs.
